This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the
choices you have. Vishu Enterprise ("we", "us", "our") built Dawnly and is committed to
protecting your privacy. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
The short version: Dawnly does not ask you to create an account or give us your
name, email, or contacts. Your alarms, streaks, timers, and settings stay on your device. The
only data leaving your device is what Google's advertising, analytics, and crash-reporting
services collect to show ads and keep the App stable — described in detail below.
1. Information stored on your device
Everything you create in Dawnly — your alarms, wake-up missions, streaks and XP, timer and
stopwatch state, world-clock cities, bedtime settings, and preferences — is stored locally on
your device. We do not upload, sync, or have access to this data. Uninstalling the App removes it.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The App uses the following Google services, which may collect information as described in their own policies:
Google AdMob (advertising) — to serve and measure ads, Google may collect and
process a device Advertising ID (AD_ID), approximate (non-precise) location
derived from IP, device and app information, and ad-interaction data. See
Google's advertising policies.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — to gather and store your consent choices
for personalized advertising where required (e.g. the EEA and UK).
Firebase Analytics — aggregated, non-identifying usage and event data (such as
which screens are opened) to understand how the App is used and improve it.
Firebase Crashlytics — crash and stability diagnostics (device model, OS
version, and the technical state at the moment of a crash) so we can fix bugs.
Google Play Services — for in-app review and update prompts, and standard
platform functionality.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not collect your precise GPS location, your
contacts, your photos, or your microphone or camera input.
3. Permissions and why the App uses them
Notifications — to show your alarm on the lock screen with Snooze and Dismiss, plus bedtime and streak reminders.
Exact alarm & full-screen intent — to ring your alarm at the precise time, even when the device is idle.
Vibrate & wake lock — to vibrate and wake the screen when an alarm or timer goes off.
Run at startup (boot completed) — to re-schedule your alarms after the device restarts.
Foreground service (media playback) — to keep the alarm/timer tone playing reliably while it is ringing.
Internet & network state — used by the advertising, analytics, and crash-reporting services above.
Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob to serve ads.
4. Advertising & your choices
Dawnly displays ads provided through Google AdMob. Where personalized advertising requires
consent, the App presents a consent request and honors your choice. You can also:
Reset or limit ad personalization anytime via your device: Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads).
Where a "Privacy & ad choices" option appears in the App's Settings, use it to review or change your consent.
5. Children's privacy
Dawnly is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. Ad content is
requested at a general audience ("G") rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and
we will address it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in the EEA/UK or CCPA in California), you may
have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to
withdraw consent for personalized ads. Because we do not hold an account-based profile of you,
most control lives on your device (uninstalling removes locally stored data; the ad and analytics
choices above control third-party processing). For any request, contact us using the details below.
7. Data retention
App data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data collected by
the third-party services above is retained according to their respective policies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when the updated
version is posted, with a revised "Last updated" date at the top.
